The New World Foundation is a Training and Development Centre in the Lavender Hill township near Cape Town.

Founded in 1980, it started with a creche for 27 children in nearby Vrygrond informal settlement. Covering a wider a wider area now comprising Lavendar Hill, Vrygrond, Seawinds, Steenberg and Retreat.

  



    

 

One of our latest youth programmes is the New World Foundation dance project in collaboration with “Chance 4 All”.

In 2004 NWF had a greater influx of youth wanting to join our programmes. We explored various avenues of ways to expand and discovered that the youth had a keen interest in the arts.
